United Way Saskatoon kicks off 2013 campaign

By Jessica Kent, Global News September 12, 2013 - SASKATOON - United Way Saskatoon is going into this year’s campaign with high expectations, hoping to raise $6.5 million. Last year, the campaign brought in $6.4 million.

All money raised during the campaign goes back into the community.

Like last year, the focus of this campaign will be to end homelessness, help kids be all they can be and build healthy strong communities.

Thursday’s campaign kicked-off with a parade downtown, bringing together nearly 350 sponsors and supporters, followed by a breakfast with the mayor.

Donations can be made online at United Way Saskatoon.
