The Government of Saskatchewan offers a number of programs to assist homeowners and residential users Go Green in their day-to-day lives.
PST Exemption
All ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances, furnaces, boilers, ground and air source heat pumps are exempt from PST? Your heating contractor or appliance retailer will not charge you PST on this equipment.
Energy conservation is a key component of achieving emission reduction targets and is an area in which everyone in society can contribute. There are various programs available to the people of Saskatchewan so that they can do their part to become more environmentally friendly.
Net Metering Rebate Program – In 2011-12, the province’s Go Green Fund committed an additional $2.9 million to support environmentally preferred power generation options and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Saskatchewan.
